Byron and Susan Franklin opened Seafood Express 32 years ago, and it has been a family-owned business every day since. What began as a simple promise — bring the Central Valley genuinely fresh seafood and treat people like neighbors — has grown into a Stockton institution, known for a deli counter people drive across town for and the freshest crab around.
Over the years, the Franklins became the Central Valley's go-to name for crab feeds, hosting thousands of them for families, fundraisers, companies, and celebrations of every kind. Through all of it, their love for this community has stayed at the heart of the business — delicious food, fair prices, and regulars who keep coming back.
